The Chicago Bulls have agreed to a deal that would send point guard and former MVP Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks, according to multiple reports.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the Knicks will send center Robin Lopez and guards Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon to the Bulls for Rose, guard Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick.
Suffice to say, the Lopez acquisition all but ends Noah's era with Bulls.

The potential deal was first reported by The Vertical.
New Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek said Rose "adds a whole new dynamic to our roster," in a press release from the team:

With the addition of Rose, the Knicks get a much-needed upgrade to a struggling backcourt that could see guard Arron Afflalo leave in free agency.
New York has struggled recently to find a consistent point guard, though it's not clear if an aging Rose will be the answer.

But now without a true center, the Knicks are expected to pursue several high-level players in free agency to add to a core of Rose, Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis.
Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah are all possibilities, with Gasol and Noah having played with Rose last year in Chicago.
Before the Rose trade, the Knicks were projected to have almost $30 million in cap space this offseason.
Any major additions to the Knicks' roster will likely have to be done via trade or free agency, as the team doesn't have a pick in the 1st round of this year's draft.
