The day after Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris' breakup was first reported, Harris took to Twitter to confirm the news and shoot down all the "insider" rumors that followed.

"The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect," he tweeted Thursday (June 2) -- with Swift backing up Harris' sentiment by retweeting him.
The tweet seems to take aim at the various anonymously sourced reports that have emerged following news of the breakup, with headlines saying Harris was "intimidated" by Swift's fame, that Swift was "all about Hollywood" while Harris detested the spotlight, or that the Scottish DJ was "bored for a while" with the relationship.
As for Swift, her only activity on Twitter since the breakup has been to retweet Harris.
